Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year! Here are a few pictures from the last few days and all the fun we had : ).

Here is our little Christmas tree and stockings. We went and got a little tree instead of using our big one so that way Navie couldn't get to it and pull all the ornaments off. I missed having my big tree though, but I'm glad we did the little one. There is no way I would have been able to keep up with Navie if we used the big tree.

Here is Navie in her funny winter hat : ). She loves it!

Here is Navie and Cris playing their own version of "teddy bear twister". This is an old quilt that Cris had as a kid. Navie loves all the bears : ).

Navie opening presents.

Santa brought Navie a set a DVD's that teaches babies to read. You can start as early as 3 months old. Navie loves books so hopefully this will help her to read. Its never too early to start. Plus since she does love books we want to strike will the iron is hot : )

Of course we had our traditional cornish hens. Yummy!

After dinner we went to the Chick family gift exchange. Here I am with Navie.

Navie had to help everyone open their presents. Here she is with Great Grandma Strunk's puppy. She was giving it kisses.

This is Navie's big gift. Its a ladybug tent with a tunnel! I love it and I think Navie does too : )

Navie and cousin Will inside the tent.

Yesterday we were able to get the great grandkids on the Schaeffer side of the family together. It was so much fun to see all the little babies playing with each other. Sadly Holly wasn't there with Caprie, and Loretta wasn't there with Cady. Also Margets oldest son wasn't there either. So total, there were 2 moms and 3 kids not there. Hopefully next year we can get everyone together.

Hey--it's Loretta. No one mentioned anything to us about a great-grandkiddo get together, otherwise, Cady and I could have made it. Oh well--there's always another time. And by the way... Navie is too cute!
