Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope you all enjoy this wonderful day. We were going to have a nice dinner tonight but it looks like that is going to have to be postponed. I got the flu yesterday. Well I think its the flu, aches and pains, hot flashes and cold chills. Thankfully I haven't gotten "sick". I'm terrified to throwing up. Last night was the worst night's sleep. My whole body hurt and I could only sleep for about 20 minutes at a time. I'm still really achy today but I'm planning on taking some ibuprofen. Hopefully that will help.

It doesn't look like anyone else got it. I just really hope that Navie doesn't get it. Its hard for me to not kiss her face but I don't want her to get sick. She was so cute the other night. Cris and I were taking turns walking around with her because she was getting fussy and to sooth herself she started "singing". It was cutest thing ever!!!

One down, One to go

I have finished the Twilight series! That's one resolution down, and one to go (only 5 more pounds to loose, yea!!). Now I'm starting to read the portion of Midnight Sun that is on Stephenie Meyer's website. It is "Twilight" through Edward's perspective. I like it. I hope it wont take her two years to start writing it again like she said she was going to do. Until it comes out, I guess I'll just have to read the series all over again, which I'm planning on doing anyways : )


I also finished the bracelet that I was working on. It's supposed to be Bella's bracelet from the third book Eclipse. I got the idea to make it from ebay. I figured I could make my own instead of buying one but of course you can't find wood wolf charms anywhere so I did have to get that from ebay. Everything else I got from the craft store and made my attempt. It turned our really nice! I love to wear it and Navie loves to grab at it : )

Apple Sauce

Ok, so I decided to let Navie try some fruits. She has been a really good girl the last couple of days so I thought that I would give her a little treat and let her try some apple sauce. She took to veggies without any problems so I thought she would really like this. Did she like it? Well, I'll let you see for yourself : )

So our little girl is growing up. She is now 5 months old. It definitely doesn't feel like it has been that long : ). She is doing really well and now loves butternut squash : ). I was so proud of her when she tried it for the first time. She has had rice cereal before but never took to it like she did to the squash. Tonight we are going to try peas!

Here is a video of Navie doing her little wiggle dance. I had to unzip her pj's so you could see it. She wasn't moving her head though. Usually her head really gets into it too. It's really cute when you see it in person : )!
