Home Sweet Home

Ok, so here is our new town house. Welcome : ) I love it! I tried to take pictures that best shows the layout. I think that you will get the idea.

This is what you see when you walk in the front door. Stairs to the right.... living room to the left.... dinning room and kitchen straight ahead.

Here is the living room from the front door.

View of the Living room from the dinning room.

Here is our little galley kitchen. Its smaller then our old kitchen but still about the same cabinet space. We also have a pantry!

Other side of the kitchen.

Dinning room. I'm missing one slipcover. I can't seem to find it in any of the boxes. Hopefully its in the storage stuff : ).

Our bedroom. I still need to put up the other side table : )

View of Navie's room from the door.

View of Navie's room from the corner of her crib. Its so nice to finally have a "real" room for her where I can do all things baby... diaper changes, feedings, naps. So much better than feeding and changing her on the couch : )

Well that was it! I love living here. We have twice the space here than our old apartment and plus we don't have to carry a 14 lbs. baby up three flights of stairs : ). I still have a lot of unpacking (and decorating, yea! ) to do but that will all get done in time.

Moving Day

It has been a long and exhausting weekend. We finally moved into our new townhouse! It was a lot of work and to all those that helped us move.....THANK YOU!!!!!! We really couldn't have done it with out all the help. I feel a little bad because I couldn't help much with the moving part because I had to take care of Navie, but I'm making up for it by unpacking everything : ). Moving is hard enough; add a 5 month old on top of that and boy does it make for an interesting experience. I absolutely love our new place! I don't having any pictures of the inside yet. I want to get all the boxes out the way before I take pictures.

Here is Cris, Dad Schaeffer, and Dad Chick moving our dinning room table into the van. Sorry about the the tree branches in the way. We were in a 2nd story appartment and I was taking the pictures from the window.

Look closely.......yes that is snow on the sidewalk. It started to snow a little while the guys were moving the computer table and bookcase. It didn't get bad though, just enough to leave a dusting.

Navie in her seat sitting in the middle of the dinning room table. She was a good trooper during this whole processes.

We wanted to keep everyone's energy up so we ordered pizza. Navie was wondering where her pizza was : ).

The Apple Doesn't Fall Far from the Tree

Looks like someone might be a thumb sucker : ). Well the apple doesn't fall far from the tree does it? I'm sure most of you can remember when I sucked my two fingers. Heck, I sucked them until I was 14! Navie just started putting her thumb in her mouth. Most of the time she just sucks her hand but she is starting to get the hang of it. We'll see if this becomes a habit or not (I think it will).
Navie is doing well. She is going through a really fussy phase right now. All she does is cry and it seems like nothing we do makes her happy. The crying really makes things difficult because we are trying to pack everything up to move in two weeks and she has to be held the entire time. Thats babies for you : ).
I probably won't be posting pictures that often for the next few weeks. The power adapter for my computer is fried and I have to get a new one. I'm not to worried about it right now since like I said, we are trying to get everything packed up. I think that is a little more important at the moment : ). I'm using Cris' computer and I'm not as familiar with it. I'll have to wait for my computer to be un and running to get to all the pictures : ).
