We are in trouble now!

Looks like we are in trouble. Navie is a blankie girl! Most people wouldn't think much of it but for those of you who knew me growing up, I was a blankie girl too. I carried mine everywhere (literally) that I went. I'm sure Grandma Gauss will remember how many blankets she had to make me just to replace the ones I wore through : ). Knowing that, I went ahead and made an extra blaney for Navie. The blanket on the left is her blankie and the one on the right is the one I just made. She seems to like both pretty well but the original is still her favorite : ).

But here is the real reason that we are in trouble. Navie is climbing the stairs now. She made it all the way up to the top by herself with Cris standing guard behind her. Here is a video of her finishing the last few steps. She was getting tired so I had to encourage her to finish by bringing out the blankie. I don't encourage her to climb the stairs ( I make sure that she doesn't) but I didn't want her to give up. She's a strong little girl and I want her to learn and experiment while still being safe. Thats the only way she will grow : ). However, we do have to get a gate for the bottom of the stairs now that she knows what they are : ).

And a quick note.... Navie's new game is taking anything she can get her hands on and dropping it. She pulls everything off the shelves at home and throws all the stuff out of my purse over the side of the shopping cart. The really cute thing is that when she does it she says "Uh-oh". It makes me smile every time : ).

Yea, Navie! She's mastered the stairs. Soon she'll be walking! Then the race begins. Love the new blankey. Good thing she has a back-up.

What a big girl...climbing the stairs now! Before you know it, she'll be running you all over the place. Tell Daddy that he's a good stair climbing spotter.

Oh, and give her lots of hugs and kisses for us! She's such a doll!

Uhoh you are definitely in trouble. Adrienne mastered the stairs shortly before she started walking. Watch out!
